Wednesday May 30, 2007 Ulrich and Farmer

Today (or yesterday) heard from Mark Oram (Magda's son-in-law) saying he will print out my original e-mail and give it to Magda. Tom says things move slowly over there... Already heard from Martin Cincibuch, Dagmar's son, very excitedly, saying he will get the message to Dagmar as their antenna blew down in the wind and their computer is out.

Today I thought to pursue another branch, the Farmers of Wiltshire. Mary Ann Farmer was born in 1850 and married Joseph Banks (g-grandfather, the mysterious patriarch) in 1876. Their eldest son, Joseph Moore Banks, married his first cousin, Fanny, daughter of Mary Ann's brother John and his wife, Jane Baden. So I tried the research route via Ancestry and the first entry had a match and a public tree. Went to the tree, saw a ton of Badens and knew I was in the right place. No info on Mary Ann, so I wrote to the compiler, Russell Andrews, both offering a match and in a second message, recalling the 2 Farmer photos I had scanned last year from John Banks, offering to share anything that he hadn't got. It will be interesting to read his response.
